The national debating championship will take place online from 15 December 2021 – 19 December 2021.

Provincial training will take place on the Saturdays listed below:

  • 20 November 2021 08:30 – 13:00
  • 27 November 2021 08:30 – 13:00
  • 04 December 2021 08:30 – 13:00
  • 11 December 2021 08:30 – 13:00

Venue, online or in-person, will be confirmed by the end of the week.

We respect that learners may be engaged in exams but encourage schools and parents to allow their children to attend.

Data from previous national tournaments indicates that our learners perform better in years where they attend practice more regularly.

We will also facilitate practice sessions closer to the tournament to give the learners one last boost prior to the championship.
